Homeless Service
Each week 30–50 homeless people are collected from the streets of London by the church bus, given hot meals and winter clothing, on Tuesdays.
Christ in the Stranger
Every week our team welcomes 30 to 50 homeless people, collected from the streets of London by the church bus. They are given hot meals and appropriate winter clothing, and returned at the end of the service. We go not as a charity dispensing aid, but as a family seeking Christ Himself in every person we meet.
The ministry runs on Tuesdays: preparation from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the service itself from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A hot drink and a conversation can restore dignity as much as a meal — our volunteers learn names, remember faces, and return week after week.
“I was hungry and you gave Me food… inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”
We always need volunteers, cooked food and donations of warm clothing. To join a Tuesday service or to give, contact the team.
